An initiative started back in March, Bandcamp have been supporting artists impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic with their Bandcamp Fridays. They have waived their full revenue share on all sales for 24 hours, on the first Friday for the past three months. This means all merch/music sales on Bandcamp have gone directly to the artist on this day.
Bandcamp Co-Founder & CEO Ethan Diamond has announced that they will continue to hold Bandcamp Fridays on the first Friday of every month until the end of the year.
