Round 3 Of PRS Foundation's Sustaining Creativity Fund To Support Black Music Creators



PRS Foundation have announced that they will be running a third round of their Sustaining Creativity Fund which will focus specifically on supporting black music creators who have been affected by the current pandemic. Partners for this fund are black-led music organisation,GIRLS I RATE, Jazz re:freshed, MOBO Trust, No Signal, Saffron Records and Tomorrow’s Warriors.

The Sustaining Fund was set up thanks to Spotify’s Covid-19 Music Relief Fund, PRSF have recognised that the black music community has been disproportionately impacted by Covid-19 and so this round of funding is dedicated to them.

Grants of £750 will be awarded to each grantee, with the purpose of creating new music by spending time recording, collaborating, writing, etc. An additional of £250 top-up is available for applicants with access needs. Black music creators can start to apply from 16th July, deadline is 10th August.
