Croydon’s only community-led online radio station has been awarded an FM licence by U.K. communications regulator Ofcom. This not-for-profit radio station located on St Georges Walk in Central Croydon, was founded by DJ Clive Campbell, providing daily music shows and discussions. It comprises 40 volunteer DJ's, presenters and producers and has recorded over 1000 live shows.
Their management team said, “[We] would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire Croydon FM family, out world-wide listeners, followers on social media and members across the community who have supported Croydon FM endlessly along the way – stay tuned as the journey continues!”
This is a big achievement for the station and for the borough, a big congratulations to the entire Croydon FM team!
